The Project:

The Hemlock Project seeks to inform and educate the public of the serious threat to North American hemlock trees.
     An invasive insect from Asia called the hemlock wooly adelgid (Adelges tsugae) has spread over most of the range of both the eastern hemlock (Tsuga canadensis) and the carolina hemlock (Tsuga caroliniana).
